Yosemite has sparked the appreciation and awe of countless visitors over the years. People like John Muir and Ansel Adams spent years here and made the park much of their career. The images that follow were taken in May, a great time of year to see the full effects of the spring water runoff in the waterfalls and rushing rivers here. I encourage you to make a revisit or visit for the first time if you haven’t been fortunate enough to view it in person, as it truly is an awe-inspiring view of what nature can create.
These are likely the most photographed falls in the world.
Stunning power and beauty in the powerful falls from above.

The Falls are way up in the background, and what a hike it is to get up there.
If you go clear to the top during a time like this, you will get cooled in the mist.
